Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs gets a Facebook page
Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs launched a Facebook page today. The page is already populated with content, such as a discussion on poverty reduction. Catholic Charities of Colorado Springs executive director Jason Christensen has embraced techonology as a way to advance the organization's mission.
"It's a new means of social networking and getting the word out. We want to be on the cutting edge," Christensen told the Herald. "It's not just exclusive to what we're doing in the Pikes Peak Region. It's about poverty issues and raising awareness."
