Gay designer against same-sex parents

You don't hear this very often... a gay fashion designer is against same-sex parenting.

"I am opposed to the idea of a child growing up with two gay parents. A child needs a mother and a father."

Now that doesn't make better the fact that he is having a child through artificial insemination with a female friend, but what he says about same-sex parenting is important... a child deserves to be raised by a mother and father. As Catholics, we believe that it is equally important for the parents to be married.
