Updated Christopher West talk info

We are very excited to announce that Christopher West will be speaking in our diocese next month. The date and location have changed since our initial announcement so please note:

The theology of the body talk will take place 7 p.m. Dec. 4 at St. Patrick Church.

Christopher's talk will be a blend of theology of the body overview along with a section on how the TOB is the antidote to a pornography-obsessed culture. One of the reasons he is addressing this is because the Diocese of Colorado Springs will be testing a parish-based anti-pornography program, "As For Me and My House," at four pilot parishes in the near future. Of course, we think this talk should be attended by anyone who has an interest in the theology of the body. Christopher West and Father Tom Loya (who spoke in the diocese last week) are considered pre-eminent speakers on the TOB. In fact, I had a major renewal of my Catholic faith in the late 1990s after hearing Christopher's TOB introduction talk in Dallas. He is not to be missed.
