World Series ticket experience
OK, venting time. Did anyone have a good experience trying to get World Series tickets? The system did NOT work well. For those of you smart enough not to try, you were sent to a screen that told you to wait 120 seconds and then it would automatically refresh and try to lock into ticket sales. If you manually refreshed earlier, you were told you'd lose your place in line, whatever that meant. However, most of the time, you'd sit there for 119 seconds and then it would freeze at the refresh and you'd have to start over anyway. In case you're wondering, I have dual monitors and was able to continue working the entire time.
The system still froze a bunch of times and this is the experience of several friends who were trying to get through. The Rockies may have sold all their tickets so they're trying hard to do PR damage control and pretend that all is great, but there are far more angry Colorado-based fans like myself because of this miserable experience. Get a company that can handle this kind of deal, you know?
