Media freebies at the DNC

Every time media attend a large event like the Democratic National Convention, they usually receive a gift bag of some sort. The usual stuff was in the bag this time (notebook, pens, tourism guides, etc.). One item from Protecting America caught my eye. It's a working FM radio with attached earbuds.

How apropos considering the tornadoes that touched down in Douglas County on Sunday. I gave it a try, and it works quite well.
