C-Sections are in...
The Dallas Morning News has an interesting story on the rise of Caesarean ("C-Section") deliveries by women in affluent areas of the Dallas metroplex.
They're mothers seeking a delivery that's convenient, predictable and quick.Elective Caesareans are being presented as another facet of the "choice" movement for women. Some doctors are refusing to perform elective C-sections, while others are preferring them (note the section in the article on malpractice suits).
Their detractors say they are choosing vanity over biology.
