Thursday recap... WE SAW THE POPE! It was worth the wait. We were at the front of the fence at the Cathedral ("The Domain" site), watched it on the Jumbotron & then here he came zooming down the street.. YES he was SPEEDING! You could hear the screams before he arrived… we were on the corner so we saw him coming into the park & going out of the park. lt all lasted less than 5 minutes… but thrilling…as we stood there with our rosaries on our arms (accepting blessings) & snapping photos! Then the walk back thru the crowds is always exciting as the crowds pass each other & slap high fives (the universal teen language of hello).
