Healing after a mother's worst nightmare

Last weekend, the 4-year-old son of Catholic author Regina Doman died when she accidentally backed over him in a church parking lot. I can't imagine a worse thing to happen to a mother. Fortunately, there has been an outpouring of support for the family from their many, many friends.

At Joshua's funeral Mass, she bravely went up to the microphone and gave an honest, humble and very moving speech about what she is going through and about the beautiful life of her son.

May we all have enough grace to handle this situation this way. This is why it is so important to have Christ at the center of your marriage and your life.
