Goodbye dollar, hello... Amero?

This story seems to be under the radar, and I'm just investigating this myself to see just how reliable it is, but there is an interesting story of a movement to replace the American dollar with a Euro-like currency called the Amero. Apparently the agenda is, with the dollar's value falling, it would reach a point where a switch to the Amero would come about, linking Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. Not that Wikipedia is an official source for anything, but they do have an entry on it.

Have you heard of this? I hadn't until today, but apparently it was brought up on CNBC last December (see video link). We certainly do not endorse the groups that put the video link on the web, but this the only link I can find. This topic is something to keep on the radar, perhaps.
